VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA – (September 21, 2021) – VoltSafe Inc. is pleased to announce it has received a “Notice of Allowance” from the USPTO, for its flagship “power connector using resistive sensing” technology.
VoltSafe’s “electrical fingerprint” technology (which is the basis of VoltSafe’s platform of full stack electrical connector solutions) is a critical pillar that the company’s technology is built upon. This newly granted patent builds on VoltSafe’s other previously granted patents relating to proximity based actuation of electrical plugs/outlets.
In addition, this “Notice of Allowance” will assist in expediting other pending applications to “Patent Granted” status in the additional countries worldwide that VoltSafe has previously filed in, enabling VoltSafe to effectively pursue its vision of global electrification with its future-focused electrical plug technology.
Trevor Burgess, VoltSafe CEO, commented, “Our core technology moving from “Patent Pending” to “Patent Granted” status in the US is a critical milestone for VoltSafe, as it creates a giant leap forward for antiquated pronged electrical connectors. VoltSafe’s novel full stack solutions will play a key role in supply & demand side management globally, making electrical infrastructure significantly safer, smarter and simpler to use for all.”
This milestone comes on the heels of big news last week, as VoltSafe announced the launch of its Pre-Series A funding round. Participation in this round is exclusively for strategic institutional investors, as the company seeks to add capital partners able to expedite VoltSafe’s burgeoning demand. The proceeds from this round will be used to accelerate and strengthen the impact of initial commercialization of VoltSafe Home, Marine-RV and General Purpose magnetic electrical connectors as well as to expand the breadth of pilot projects.
Institutional investors interested in participating in this strategic fundraising round should contact VoltSafe CFO, Scott Carlson, by email at scott@voltsafe.com.
