VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA – (February 9, 2022) – VoltSafe Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received a “Notice of Allowance” from the Chinese Patent Office (CNIPA), granting VoltSafe its 5th patent relating to its flagship electrical connector technology.
This newly-minted patent granted by the CNIPA is part of VoltSafe’s execution strategy to secure and protect its novel electrical connector technology through high value “IP land grabs”. This key milestone also unlocks new potential upside for VoltSafe technology (in a market that currently has almost 1.5 billion residents), while simultaneously creating a moat that serves to lock out competitors from selling and/or manufacturing in China without the prior approval/partnership with VoltSafe.
Receiving the granted patent in China moves VoltSafe’s other global patent applications (currently at various stages of examination) closer to “Patent Granted” status, accelerating VoltSafe’s vision of global electrification with its novel, future-focused electrical connector technology.
Commenting on the significant milestone, VoltSafe’s CEO Trevor Burgess, stated, “This patent represents the robust backbone of our plug technology and for VoltSafe to advance our products and projects globally it is dependent upon critical milestones like this one. VoltSafe’s innovative technology has the very real capability to make plugging in (at our homes or at work) inherently safer, smarter and more accessible to users around the world. It will also play a key role in energy (supply & demand side) management, advanced smart home capabilities and smart city infrastructure.
The year ahead is expected to include significant announcements, including multiple product launches, new projects and partners and expanded licensing relationships. The future is certainly bright for the company and its key stakeholders.
