Japan Grants VoltSafe its Seventh Patent for its Flagship Technology

VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA – (May 24, 2022) – VoltSafe Inc.
is excited to announce that it has been granted the patent for its flagship technology in Japan, the world’s third largest economy. The milestone continues to add to its list of countries in which a “Notice of Allowance” has been received and patent granted, this time from the Japan Patent Office (JPO, in Tokyo). VoltSafe has now been granted SEVEN patents relating to its flagship technology.

VoltSafe’s strategic roadmap continues to focus on IP capture and monetizing its novel tech, and related IP, through licensing of its technology.  The smart home market in Japan is predicted to surpass $13B by 2027 with an increased focus being placed on smart ecosystems, particularly centred around safety and energy monitoring efficiency. VoltSafe is well positioned to leverage its patented tech with existing market incumbents to become a dominant technology in the fast growing Japanese smart home and smart city markets.

Achieving these significant milestones is no easy task. VoltSafe’s CEO Trevor Burgess, remarked, “Patent protection is a critical strategy for companies such as VoltSafe who bring novel ideas and tech to market. We continue to expand our IP so we are able to partner with incumbents through licensing agreements, instead of locking them out of this novel tech altogether. VoltSafe has carved a new path to unprecedented electrical safety, accessibility and energy management, unlocking previously unreachable economic and social benefits that sets a new global high voltage standard.”

This year has already seen VoltSafe making significant strides ranging from multiple patents being granted around the world, to new retail channel partners for our first fully commercialized product, to new R&D projects, partners and licensing relationships.

VoltSafe has just launched a community-focused equity crowdfunding campaign to raise capital aimed at driving the company further towards its licensing and commercialization goals. The company first successfully pitched its discovery on CBC’s Dragons’ Den in 2018 with multiple Dragons vying to invest. For a limited time, the raise is open to all investors.
