VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA – (January 20, 2023) – VoltSafe Inc. has earned the distinction of being named a Finalist in the Smart Home Division, Emerging Home Technologies Category, by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). The honour was earned for one of the company’s innovative product solutions, VoltSafe Home, Powered by the Ideal Switch® (by Menlo Micro).
The Consumer Technology Association brings together companies of every size and specialty in the technology industry to move society forward. CTA is the trade association representing the USD $505 billion consumer technology industry, which supports more than 18 million jobs in the United States alone. It is also the producer of the world’s biggest tech innovation trade show, CES which takes place annually in Las Vegas.
VoltSafe was recently a 2023 CES exhibitor in the Venetian’s “Smart Home” section where the company, with Menlo Micro, showcased its most advanced novel conductive connector and outlet designs to date. This show marked VoltSafe’s inaugural CES appearance, demonstrating the successful progress and maturation of its Home product since originally being featured successfully on CBC’s “Dragons’ Den” in 2018. VoltSafe Home connectors provide real-time energy-monitoring at the outlet level, with ‘smart plug’ capabilities and unprecedented safety. VoltSafe is in collaboration with Menlo Micro on a version integrating its novel Ideal Switch.
Earlier this month, VoltSafe also earned CES Innovation Awards Honoree for TWO its patented flagship tech product solutions: VoltSafe Home and VoltSafe Marine. The CES Innovation Awards program, owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, is an annual competition honouring outstanding design and engineering in 28 consumer technology product categories. This 2023 program received a record high number of over 2,100 submissions.
